Christmas in The Realms

Every year I write a Christmas story involving some of my characters from my books. 

The last couple of years I have spent with Farloft in his fantasy world.

think are magical, mystical or fantastical

“I wish you could change into a hippogriff, or better yet, a dragon,” Pete said, as we approached the house. “It would have made this much easier to get home.”

He shifted the Christmas tree’s trunk in his hand. My best friend, Pete is a little guy, but he is a trooper even with an eight-foot load. Whereas he is human through and through, I am a shape shifter with both a human and a wolf form.

“You’re just lucky I can change into a wolf or those gnomes would have beat us to this beauty.” I grinned at him when he looked over his shoulder. Those little buggers can be real single-minded when they have their eye on a tree.

When World Collide - Chapter One

There exists a parallel world to ours, where creatures humans 'think' are mythical, magical, paranormal, and fantastical actually live. 

It is called 'The Realms.' 

This world is apart from our world. Throughout history beings from that world have come to ours through gates, to which only they know the location. 

Their visits are few and far between, and usually create havoc
or at least 

rumors, legends, and fairy tales. 

But what would happen if our worlds truly collided.

In the not too distant future it just might happen.

“Tal’on could not stay away from Delevy,” Mul’drak said. He mantled his wings up over his head stretching them almost to the ceiling of the cave dome. He gave a big yawn, his large pink tongue rolling out its full length. The old dragon smiled wearily and shook his hand. “The young dragon’s bond was too strong. Over the next two years he ‘jumped’ to Delevy’s village often. The town grew to know him and though they did not understand his speech, they grew to enjoy the presence of the young dragon.”

“Delevy found she had extended family still living in the village,” Rudd’ard explained. “They and Tal’on helped her build a small home. They built a pole-barn nearby and Tal’on slept there, with Delevy at his side, on his visits during bad weather. But the Valdare’s world was changing. Even though their village was far away and they had kept to themselves, and hence out of the war between their people and the Sandcor, it eventually encroached on their world.”

I am so excited today. I proofed the paper copy of my latest paranormal last night, SHIFTING PLACES. I believe I am going to be able to keep my promise and have it up on Amazon for you all to read over the 4th of July weekend. I will get it posted during July to Smashwords and thus on to Barnes & Noble, Kobo, iTune etc.

Mr. Grimm wants his daughter back. Raven kidnapped Angelica over eighteen years ago. The vampire ruler holds her as hostage, blackmailing Grimm to do his bidding with the threat of ‘turning’ her.
